It is my lucid watercolour take the River great Ouse in Ely, Cambridgeshire. During my life in Cambridge Ely was one of my favourite painting locations. I enjoyed walking along the River with my sketchbook a lot. East Anglia offered me a warm feeling of home and I had the splendour of beautiful subjects to paint. I have been recollecting my memories and came across this sketch. I have moved around some elements to come up with composition to put some colours on. It is a studio piece packed with living memories and feelings of the location. Unframed original watercolour 38 x 28 cm.
