On a sunny day London is full of beauty and elegance. This is an unframed watercolour painting of narrow boats on Regents canal by the Cester Street in central London. I have painted it from my recent plain air trip. It was such a joy sketching by the canal and observing the life around. I felt like that could spend all day with my watercolours! There was a little coot I the river swimming around and diving for food. I was surprised to see how territorial that little beauty when a mallard duck came closer to her are of the water!
