The colours of silence - Warsaw painting journal
Sudhi S Pooniyil
Warsaw is very dear to me because of the history and emotional connection with my dearest creative friends. Every time I visit Poland I feel that strong bond with the culture, life of people and the beautiful landscape is deepening. These are some moments from my painting explorations across the country. Thank you to my friends Piotr Mełech, Jakub Królikowski and Ciara Gayer. It is rather a personal account than an instructional video. I just wanted to share with you all how I connect with the process of painting. A painting actually begins when I started searching for a composition. Sometimes I find it just around the corner. Other occasions it takes me a while to find it. As soon as I started simplifying a composition and put some colours on, it enables me to go deeper to myself and the world around me. It is a meditative experience.
